Frequently Asked Questions

“What can you help me with?”

We can try to help you with anything. We are all college grads with differing skills. We can’t retile your roof or fix your plumbing, but we can help you in all sorts of ways.

So far we’ve done a lot of moving, cleaning, organization, tutoring, petsitting, and general labor.

But we’ll try anything! And we’ll only charge what you think is fair (and can offer).

“How much is this?”

We are strictly operation as a pay-what-you-can service.

We want to help people. But we have bills, student loans, groceries, and everything else like everyone else. We would help everyone for free if we could.

If you can afford to pay us more, we ask that you do as that enables us to help others with less for less.

But just because you can’t afford to do so, does not mean we won’t help you. Let us know what works for you! We’re also open to bartering and trading services. We help you and you help us!

“Am I Too Far? I’m in [PLACE]”

We are located in West Philly, but operating in the entire Philadelphia region. You might be too far, but honestly probably not. If you need help, we can get to you. We have cars, time, and want to help you out.

“Who are you?”

We are 4 friends and recent college grads who live in Philly! Our names are Carter, Gavin, Dennis, and Alex!

“How Can I Request Some Help?”

Submit a form in the contact section of this website! Our email is currently down, but we’re working to get it back up. For immediate help (call 911 if it’s a medical emergency please), you can text us at (609) 742-6440!

“How do I know you’re not creeps? Or scammers? Or creepy scammers?

Reality of the internet and world is that you don’t. But we will do everything in our power to make sure you are safe and comfortable! Whatever works for you, works for us. We can meet beforehand, talk on the phone, or whatever is needed to make sure you feel safe receiving our help!

“Why are you doing this?”

It’s scary having some task you just don’t know how to do or just can’t do alone. We know that feeling. Not everyone has the money for professional movers or whatever. Not everyone has someone in their life who can lend a hand. And we don’t want anyone to feel alone, especially when they’re in a city like Philly that has so many great people and kind strangers.

“What are your limits?”

To reiterate again, we are not professional! We can’t do anything that could potentially harm you or us. We want to help people, and have some limits, but let us know what you’re thinking and we can talk more!
